Every stream has live chat: a real-time conversation between the broadcaster and viewers. It updates instantly for everyone watching.
Sending Messages
Type in the chat box and send. Your message appears immediately for everyone in the stream, labeled with your Threads handle.
Rate Limits
To keep chat readable, sending is rate limited: a short burst is fine, but rapid-fire messages are throttled. If you are posting too quickly, wait a moment and try again.
Moderation
Broadcasters can moderate the chat on their own stream, removing messages that break the rules. Keep it respectful: harassment and spam are not welcome.
Chat is tied to a live stream. When the broadcast ends, its chat ends with it.
